Google, the new evil-doer?
Google has become more than just a bit evil..
On the heels of doing the Chinese dirty work of censoring the search results on the internet, it now appears that their Google AdSense is unfairly biased against smaller advertisers.
I, Cringely has a good piece on this phenomenon on his website.
I remember when Google first came on the scene, and it's search results were SO pertinent…? However, lately the more I use google, the more crap I have to sift through.? It's reminding me very much of the late 90's, only with 1,000 times the crap.
All of this raises the question, is the search industry ready for their bubble to be burst…again?? Who will emerge?? Microsoft continues to throw mountains of money at it, with less than stellar results.?
It seems to me, that is it not a question of if, but when, someone will rise up and steal the thunder from Google's dominance.
