This was an interesting read,
with lots of information regarding BioDiesel.? With a full fledged
energy crisis possibly looming, we need to make sure we all understand
the scientific facts.? I’ve heard some people quote that
“…BioDiesel could totally replace gasoline in America…”, which simply is
not true.
While I certainly believe we should all look for alternatives to
reliance upon foreign oil; plowing, planting, fertilizing and
harvesting more food (hence: more farm subsidies) does not appear be
the answer.?
This is an interesting proposal that combines nuclear fission and wind power
to generate Hydrogen.? Hydrogen is widely accepted to be the
future of energy production on this planet in the coming decades.?
While it is the most abundant element in the universe, it has proved
difficult to extract in mass quantities under “Terran” conditions.
It infuriates me to see such globally important issues as these become
politizied, because I believe it is simply too important for us to
treat in such a cavalier manner.? I certainly am not a
“environment wacko”, but I do believe it is imperative for all us to do
what we can to conserve our natural resources.
