New Toys and Photo Blogging
As some of you may have noticed, I’ve been doing some testing with the blog lately. Well, I have a new toy. It is a new Sprint PCS phone with a cameraphone and bluetooth. It is the LG-PM325, and it is pretty cool. Very small, and a great battery life. However, as of now, the bluetooth only allows for pairing of phone and a headset, no syncing or Dial-up-Networking (DUN). So, even though my Apple PowerBook has bluetooth, I can’ t use iSync with this phone to sync the contacts, calendar events and notes. Kind of a bummer, but still very cool.
Anyway, I now have a way to take a picture from my cam, and directly publish it to the blog, all from my phone. Thus, you may see some cool, real-time shots flow through the blog in the future. This is done by using Flickr, which I highly recommend!

hi - i have the same phone and service as you - i’m trying to set up my site to have a pic post from my phone. i have a pic-post blogger account with an email address to send to - except whenever i ’send’ photos it just sends an email link to a sprint online gallery. this seems like a sprint thing? what has been your workaround for that?
in short - it seems like you post pix directly from your phone - how do you do that?
I use the Flickr server and blogger.com. When you create an account at Flickr, you can get an email address where you send your picture to. When you send your picture to your Flickr email address, Flickr will post your picture to your gallery and/or send the picture on to your blog. The subject line becomes the subject of the post, and the message body becomes the blog post body.
I haven’t set anything up special, other than this.
Hope this helps!
It seems pretty lame that the bluetooth only works in such a limited way. Why is this?
